1. About these terms

These terms apply to Sayso, the desktop app and the online service behind it (together “Sayso”), provided by Outzone (outzone.is) (“Outzone”, “we”). By creating an account or using Sayso you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Sayso.

2. Artificial intelligence makes mistakes

Sayso uses artificial intelligence (AI) from third parties. AI can be wrong, incomplete, outdated or misleading, can misunderstand what you say or see on screen, and can do something other than what you intended.

You must check anything Sayso says or produces before relying on it. Sayso is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, tax or other) and nothing it says is such advice.

3. Actions Sayso takes for you

Sayso can, at your request or with the settings you choose, control your mouse and keyboard, open apps and websites, send and change email, calendar events and documents, and use services you connect (for example Google, MCP servers and web APIs).

You are solely responsible for everything done on your computer and in your accounts through Sayso, including messages sent, purchases, changes and deletions. You can stop Sayso at any time (⌥ Esc / Alt + Esc) and you can turn computer control off in Settings. Keep backups of anything important.

4. No warranty

Sayso is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and freedom from errors or interruptions.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Outzone nor Sayso, nor their owners, employees or partners, is liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of or inability to use Sayso — including direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost or corrupted data, errors by the AI, actions carried out by Sayso, messages sent, or the acts and omissions of third-party services.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Sayso in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

6. Third-party services

Sayso relies on services from others, including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (speech), Microsoft Azure (voices), Google, Stripe and services you connect yourself. Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, content or conduct.

7. Your data

Screen memory is stored on your computer as text; images are not kept. When you ask something, only what is needed to answer is sent to the AI providers.

If you turn on cloud sync, your settings, bots, chats and screen memory (text) are also stored encrypted on Sayso's server in the United Kingdom so you can use them on another computer. You can turn sync off and delete the cloud copy at any time in Settings. You are responsible for your own backups.

Do not use Sayso to record screens containing other people's personal data unless you are allowed to.

8. Credits and plans

Credits are used when Sayso uses AI or voice. Prices are shown in the app and may change. Purchased credits do not expire and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Plans renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time for the end of the current period.

By buying digital content that is delivered immediately, you agree that it is delivered at once and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends when delivery begins, to the extent the law permits.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use Sayso to break the law, infringe others' rights, harm others, send spam, attack or overload systems, or get around our limits or security. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Indemnity

You will compensate Outzone for claims by third parties arising from your use of Sayso in breach of these terms or the law.

11. Changes

We may change Sayso and these terms. If the terms change materially, the app asks you to accept them again. We may stop offering Sayso with reasonable notice.

12. Law and venue

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes go to the District Court of Reykjavík (Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur), without limiting a consumer's right to sue in their home courts where the law allows.
